“Mpuuga is telling lies to say change will come by simply reading statements on the floor of parliament. ” munyagwa

Former Kawempe South MP Hon Munyagwa Mubarak has come out to blow punctures into LOP’s idea of bringing change through peaceful means. #WhisperEyeNews #Uganda #UgandaNews

According to Munyagwa, issuing statements and reading alternative policies on the floor of parliament can not bring to an end a regime that came to power through military means.

Munyagwa adds that anyone in the opposition refusing to support Dr. Kizza Besigye is simply working for the unending stay of Gen Museveni in power.

Munyagwa’s words come at a time when the National Unity Platform has deliberately refused to join hands with Dr Besigyes in the protests over the ever spiking prices for goods and services.

When the Leader of Opposition Hon Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba was asked about the matter, he simply said that as NUp they have already handed a document to the government showing what should be done to help the people of Uganda in these trying economic moments.

Mpuuga added that as NUP, they will not join the protests but rather use peaceful intellectual means.

Dr Kizza Besigye and many other FDC members like Deputy Lord Mayor Nyanjura Doreen and MP Annet Adeke are currently behind bars in Luzira prison after they stormed the streets to protest against the rising prices of commodities.
