Sad: A fuso carrying market vendors involved in a terrible accident in Bukomansibi district killing 7 people

The accident occurred today afternoon along on Kanoni village in Butenga Sub County in Bukomansibi district along Masaka, Ssembabule road.

According to the eye witness Mr Mukasa John, told Whisper Eye News, that the driver of Fuso was driving at a terrible speed and after failing to negotiate his way in a corner at Kanoni village, the tyre bursted and the lorry over turned.

“The drive was reckless, he was at avery high speed, when he reached in the corner he failed to control the Fuso thus colliding with road side railways,” says Mr Mukasa.

“The Fuso was carrying market vendors from Nyendo travelling to Bukomansibi. About 10 died on the sport and many have been rushed to different health facilities with serious injuries,” he added.

Many of the victims with fractured arms and legs have been admitted at Villa Maria health facility to receive medication.

The traffic police rushed to the scene, and investigations have started to find out the cause of this accident.
