The parliamentary committee on Government Assurances had earlier summoned the Commander Land forces Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba to appear next Thursday over his alleged misconduct ranging from the numerous birthday parties to being involved in politics yet he is a serving military officer.

Mp Nambooze Bakireke Betty the chair of the committee was left disappointed by the words of the Security Minister who made it clear that he will be the one to represent Gen Muhoozi instead and thus it is not necessary to summon the 3 star General.

Muhwezi was also seconded by the Defense Minister Hon Jacob Oboth Oboth who said that him and Muhwezi will both stand in for Gen Muhoozi since he is so busy trying to serve his country in the capacity of the Commander Land Forces.
