Celebrated TV anchor Frank Walusimbi set to join BBS just after quitting NTV

Our credible sources at the Mengo television informed us that the flamboyant news anchor Walusimbi has been in direct talks with the Mengo-based TV Station.

Renowned news anchor and storyteller Frank Walusimbi will join Buganda Broadcasting Services if all goes well.

He announced his resignation Agh Khan owned NTV last week on Thursday night just after the 7 O’clock Akawungeezi bulletin, marking an end to the 15-year-old journey.

He is one of Uganda’s Award-winning telecasters with vast experience in narration and storytelling.

Sources say once he joins BBS, a major boost to Ssabasajja Kabaka’s news team and for the current affairs of the station.

Several of the Mengo officials are anxiously waiting for his debut at the TV Station.

Frank Walusimbi was not available for a comment on the matter however many friends have called upon him not turn down a job and the new experience at the bbs tv.

Recently Indoja an online association president, Andrew Irumba joked about staging a one-man protest against Frank Walusimbi if he dares to quit journalism.
