Africa & Sudanese giants Al Merriekh, sign Saidi Kyeyune from URA FC

Sudanese Giants El Merriekh have signed Uganda Revenue Authority FC midfielder Saidi Kyeyune.

Kyeyune has put pen to paper on a one year employment contract with the Sudanese giants.

Kyeyune’s superb performances at the ongoing CHAN tournament caught the eye of the Sudan giant club. He scored two goals as Uganda exited the tournament at the group stage.

Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC were also interested in Kyeyune’s signature.

He joins Mike Mutyaba and custodian Salim Jamal who are the other Ugandans to have featured for the Sudanese outfit.

El Merriekh is based in Omdurman and they host their home games at the 43000 El Merriekh stadium.

The club was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest football clubs on the African continent.

They are 16time Sudan Premier League champions and have also won the Sudan Cup 14 times
