Striker Joel Madondo joins big league side Ghaddaffi FC after parting ways with Morrocan giants Wydad Casablanca
This website has learnt that Cranes Striker Joel Madondo who partied ways with Wydad Casablanca last July has joined home town Big league debutants Ghadaffi fc. Madondo has been training with the club for over a month now and seen featuring in a number of their friendly games.
Madondo agreed to join the club after he , his representatives and the club reaching an agreement on a two year deal with a condition of letting Madondo go should a bigger club come looking for his signature.
Madondo has played for Busoga United before he professional transfer to Morrocan giants Wydad Casablanca where he spent just a single season leaving the club after failing to meet his contractual terms.
Madondo was also on the radar of Tanzania Giants Azam FC but the deal fell out. He is a former Student at St. Mary’s Kitende, sprung to consciousness courtesy of the National Post Primary Schools competition featuring for Bishop McAllister, Risah Standard and Jinja SSS.
Madondo is a CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup winner with the Uganda Cranes and scored in the 2019 final against Eritrea.
