Exclusive: Fr Kiibi asks Mpigi Christians to vote for hardworking Charles Kyasanku as town council mayor 2021. Whisper Eye Reports

Mpigi Catholic Parish priest outspoken Fr Kiibi Deogratias Kateregga has appealed to Catholics in Mpigi Catholic parish to vote Mr Lukubo Charles Kyasanku as the experienced leader to help to groom young leaders voted in Mpigi.

While in the mass today at St. Joseph catholic Parish in Mpigi today, Fr Kiibi has said that religious leaders and Buganda cannot be blamed for the decision made by Ugandans whatsoever.

“We have leaders whom we have tested and we know their roots are in the church, vote for those leaders,” says Fr Kiibi.

“I appreciate Mr Kyasanku for his contribution to our Mpigi town, he is part of us, we ask him to guide the young leaders voted in the just concluded elections. Vote him,” he added.

Mr Kyasanku was Mpigi town council mayor in 2011-2016, and during his term, he changed the face of Mpigi town, by encouraging residents to work for their town.

Today Mpigi town has changed basing on his plans.

Mr Kyasanku has promised to implement his earlier programs that were not fulfilled in his term and starting up new programs to develop Mpigi to the status of other historical towns like Mukono, Mityana, among others.
