Music champion Joseph Mayanja popularly known by his stage name Dr Jose Chameleone has congratulated Kampala Lord Mayor Haji Erias Lukwago for his reelection on the post for the third term.

Mr Mayanja contested on the post and lost the Lord Mayorship to Mr Lukwago this week.

“I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the people Kampala constituency for the support you accorded me during the election for the post of Lord Mayor Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA),” says Mr Mayanja.

“I accept that the results as declared are a fair reflection of the outcome of the contest. I call upon the people to stand as one,” he added.

Mr Mayanja appreciated all the contestants in the race for putting up a spirited contest.

“I congratulate Ssalongo Erias Lukwago for a well-deserved win,” he stated.

“I shall continue as always to serve this nation to the best of my capacity,” Chameleone said.

East and Central Africa’s music legend promised to hit the music studio again to give fans what they deserve.

“More Music, more Love, more life,” says Dr Jose Chameleone.
