National Unity Platform (NUP) candidate in Gomba East Ssaazi Godfrey is leading with 74% according to the opinion polls in the constituency.
Mr Ssaazi Godfrey popularly known as Awakula Ennume has become very popular in the constituency due to his close relationship with National Unity Platform (NUP) party presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert.
Residents of Gomba East told Whisper Eye news that it is clear that Mr Ssaazi is set to defeat hon Kalule Ssengo who started representing the constituency since Constituency Assembly (CA).
Hon Ssengo has 20.3%, and other candidates share 05.7% according to the opinion polls.
