Cranes Coach Jonathan Mckinstry confirms the final 25 man squad for the CHAN Tournament
The Irish man has confirmed a 25 man squad that will represent Uganda at this year’s tournament naming Vipers SC defender Halid Lwaliwa as captain of the team not the experienced box to box midfielder Tony Mawejje as many expected
Uganda start their campaign with neighbouring Rwanda on January the 18th at the Stade de la Reunification-Doula.
4 players were axed from the squad and will board back to Kampala soon. These are Wakiso Giants captain Hassan Senyonjo, reigning league top scorer Steven Mukwala, BUL FC in form striker Joseph Semujju and URA defender Ashraf Mandela.
The final squad is mainly dominated by Vipers SC have players who are 8 in number.
