Kawempe North MP aspirant Hon Muhammad Ssergirinya has survived arrest by combined security detail led by police.

Ssegirinya accuses his political opponents of being behind threats to arrest him to deny him a chance to vote himself.
Police have so far arrested close to 120 supporters and agents of National Unity Platform presidential candidate Hon Robert Kayguanyi among which are being held at Masaka prison.
