Two perish in an accident at Kikandwa Nakifuma. Two people have died this morning in a private car, four survivors, three children, and a grown-up boy rushed to Naggalama hospital.
Drama ensured when the victims were brought in by a taxi escorted by a police traffic policewoman.
A relative of the victims arrived with another taxi and demanded the handover of patients to him claiming that he can’t pay 500,000 /- for the ambulance causing a commotion at the hospital.
He grabbed the bleeding patients, put them in his taxi, and sped off.
Efforts to get details from the police officer were futile.
