National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert popularly known as Bobi Wine has survived death after security officers shot his car in Western Uganda.

Mr Wine is the main challenger of one of Africa’s’s longest serving president Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni in the forthcoming elections next month.

Reliable sources have told Whisper Eye news that Mr Wine has been travelling to Rwampara, then Ntungamo and Isingiro today, but he has been stopped along the way.
