Lord Mayor Race: Police bows to pressure as Erias Lukwago holds rally, vows to defeat “Jose Chameleone”, NUP & DP combined. Whisper Eye Reports

Uganda Police Force ignore Kampala Lord Mayor Haji Erias Lukwago on tuesday this 15th Dec 2020 week while holding his first political rally to solicit votes for his third term as Kampala Lord Mayor.

Unlike other politicians including his Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA), National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Hon Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert also known as Bobi Wine, Haji Lukwago was not interrupted despite holding a big rally near Katwe market just few meters to Katwe Police station.

Many opposition politician were left speechless to see Mr Lukwago peacefully holding a big rally at almost near a police station.

The rally was successful and he (Mr Lukwago) asked Kampala residents to vote for able leaders mainly from his FDC party including; FDC Kampala Woman MP flag bearer Dr Stella Nyanzi Nnalongo (Owenene) who as usual used her big words to ask for votes that left Mr Lukwago speechless.

Others whom Lord Mayor aligned to defeat NUP and DP candidates are coumcillor Sabuka Doreen, and Atuheire Allan Irwa Kizito all from FDC.

Makindye West MP Hon Allan Ssewanyana was also on the fore front, NUP flag bearer who declared to support Lord Mayor Erais Lukwago in his constituency.

Lord Mayor Lukwago is the deputy Chairman of FDC task force in Buganda region which is headed by Owek. Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo which was tasked to promote FDC president Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA) in Buganda region.
