Uganda Cranes Keeper Ismael Watenga joins Chippa United on an 18 month load deal from Mamelodi Sundowns
Chippa confirmed the development on their official social media channels on Saturday. Watenga joins Chippa after the club lost Veil Mothwa who joined AmaZulu.
Chippa, based in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape province, are 13th on the PSL table.
Watenga, formerly at Vipers, terminated his contract at Kenyan side Sofapaka and joined PSL giants Mamelodi Sundowns which has sent him on loam so as to develop as a player.
