Ambassador Stephen Nabeta succumbs to deadly Covid-19. Whisper Eye Reports

A senior Uganda Diplomat Mr Stephen Nabeta has passed on .

Whisper Eye has learnt that the Zana resident has succumbed to the deadly covid-19 pandemic although his family said he had complications from diabetes .

Aclose confidant of president Museveni , he was among the first ambassadors to be deployed then Yoweri Museveni ripe from the bush took power.

He was also among the founders of Mercantile Credit Bank.

Keefa Kaweesa who worked under him described the deceased as a very trust worthy man that played a big role for Uganda.

Uganda has truly lost another high profile person , Keefa mourned.

Nabeta who resides in Zana , off Entebbe road will be laid to rest this week .
