Tension: CPS Kampala attached police officer “Agaba Simon” killed by Covid-19

Tension at CPS Kampala as Police Officer Agaba Simon succumbs to Covid-19. Whisper Eye Reports

Central Police Station attached Police officer Agaba Simon has died after days battling with covid-19 pandemic.

Whisper Eye has learnt that Agaba Simon an officer attached to Central Station Police CID section is dead.

Agaba Simon a police officer and also a lawyer by profession had been admitted at Mulago covid-19 isolation unit for days when he developed breathing difficulties .

His colleague a city lawyer Mr Tonny Tumukunde told Whisper Eye that Agaba Simon had died few minutes ago .

He described him as a committed Police Officer. A jovial Lawyer. Very trustworthy and a family man. We shall miss his articulacy at work. Tonny Tumukunde mourned.

Whisper Eye efforts to get a comment from the police leadership was futile .

The Ministry of Health indicate that Uganda has so far registered 22,188 positive cases with 206 deaths while 9,117 had recovered.
