Uganda Hippos team for U20 has qualified for the 2021 AFCON final tournament in Mauritania
This was after they defeated the rising stars of Kenya 3-1 in the semi finals of the 2020 CECAFA zonal qualifiers in Tanzania on Monday Afternoon
Defender Kenneth Ssemakula opened the scoring while, Ivan Bogere netted in each of the half as Uganda outcasted Kenya at the Black Rhino academy stadium.
Defender Kenneth Ssemakula found the game’s opener in the 22nd minute before Bogere doubled the scoreline three minutes afterwards with asublime finish to grant the Hippos a 2-0 halftime lead
Ivan Bogere completed his brace from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute when he calmly placed the ball into the back of the net with Kenyan goalie Maxwell Mulili well beaten

The Hippos have now progressed to the finals and have automatically qualified for Africa cup of Nations for U20 in Mauritania next year
