Buikwe, Mukono residents’ brave live bullets& heavy teargas to attend Bobi Wine rally. Whisper Eye Reports

National Unity Platform supporters braved what was termed as the most heavy teargas ever in the history of Uganda Police teargas to attend hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu rally in Mukono , and Buikwe.

Earlier, Kyagulanyi had successful campaigned in Nakifuma as police did not block him despite heavy deployment.

In Lugazi Bobi Wine was told to campaign close to 15 KM out of the central district by the police commanders .

But despite heavy firing of teargas at his supporters and live bullets in the air to scare and block the residents from attending Hon Robert Kyagulanyi’s rally, the high numbers of his supporters overwhelmed police who simply looked on as hundreds of people poured in to attend Kyagulanyi’s rally.

Police blocked Bobi Wine at Kawolo along Kampala- Jinja Road on his way to Buikwe District. Police said Kyagulanyi was not supposed to use the main road as it would paralyse traffic.

Bobi Wine was also greeted with heavy teargas and live bullets in Mukono and according to NUP party leadership these are no longer campaigns but war.
