Independent presidentail candidate John Katumba has severally been beaten by a police officer at his campaign trail.

Police brutality has increased in Uganda mainly towards politcal opponents that do oppose the ruling NRM government.

John Katumba who was speaking to his supporters was severely kicked by a police officer before his EC guards protected him.

His aide is heard saying now see what u are causing!!

John Katumba camp has condemned the act inflicted on their candidate by what they referred to as unprofessional police officers.

By press time John Katumba had suspended his presidentail campaigns until Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu had been released.
