Kampala businessman Mathew Kanyamunyu has pleaded guilty to manslaughter  criminal charge in Kampala.

Whisper Eye has learnt that Mathew entered a plea bargain with the DPP and he has been handled a 5 year plus one month sentence in Luzira.

Mathew was accused of murdering Akena in Kampala.

He has for a long time been court on suspicion to have shot dead child rights activist Kenneth Akena in the stomach over knocking his car.

The DPP has also dropped murder charges against Kanyamunyu’s  galfriend Cytnthia Munwangari who was also facing murder charges.
