Cranes coach drops experienced Tony Mawejje and Murshid Juuko for Uganda VS South Sudan AFCON game

Cranes coach chops squad for local based players to 7. Experienced Tony Mawejje and Murshid Juuko dropped:

Coach Johnathan McKinstry has named final 7 home based players for the Uganda Vs South Sudan double header in the AFCON Qualifiers.

Keeper Charles Lukwago, Halid Lwaliwa, Patrick Mbowa, Disan Galiwango, Shafic Kagimu, Karim Watambala & Brian Aheebwa have made the final cut that will join the long list of foreign based players.

Among the surprise exclusions include defender Juuko Murshid, Denis Iguma, Midfielder Tony Mawejje and winger Milton Kaliisa.

The dropped players will leave the camp to go back home but the coach has asked them to keep fit especially when Uganda is playing for the CHAN final tournament will be played early next year.
