By Whisper Sports

Uganda Cranes camp beefed further as striker Emmanuel Okwi is yet to join the camp after being released by his club.

Experienced foward Emmanuel Okwi is expected to join the cranes camp within less than 48 hours to sharpen the striking force further. Okwi was released by his club نادي الاتحاد السكندري فرع سموحة – Al Ittihad Alexandria Club following the conclusion of the 2019/20 season.

After arriving in camp successfully, Okwi will be another option for the cranes coach as he looks to come out with the final list of those that will make it to the squad that will face South Sudan in the double header this month in the AFCON Qualifiers.

Other fowards that were summoned include Derrick Nsibambi, Fahad Bayo , Edrisa Lubega, Alexis Bakka and Uche Ikpeazu
