Kyadondo East MP Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu commonly known as Bobi Wine a presidential candidate in Uganda general elections 2021 has postpones his manifesto launch to Saturday.
Bobi Wine was immediately arrested when he left the nomination grounds by Uganda Police and violently whisked away to his home in Magere amidst protests from his supporters.
Bobi Wine’s party Secretary General in a presser yesterday at the party headquarters indicated that their presidential candidate was to launch his manifesto in Mbarara , Western Uganda on Friday 6th November 2020.
In a notice posted by Bobi Wine, He mourned the passing of Sheikh Kalisa who was pronounced dead yesterday .
In light of the untimely death of senior leader, Sheikh Anas Kalisa, who will be buried this Friday in Ntungamo, we have postponed our manifesto launch to Saturday 7th November, to enable our senior leaders, including myself, to participate in the funeral. Bobi Wine posted on his official social media account.
The manifesto launch is scheduled to take place in Mbarara, Kakoba Division. We have accordingly notified the Electoral Commission and Uganda police! he declared.
