Big Story: Excitement as Joseph Mayanja visits Kiswa in Nakawa East , residents endorse his Lord Mayorship bid. Whisper Eye Reports

Residents of Kiswa Village in Nakawa East have endorsed Singer Joseph Mayanja as their Kampala Lord Mayor in the forthcoming elections.

Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Mr Joseph Mayanja popularly known by his stage name Dr Jose Chameleone has visited Kiswa village in Nakawa East constituency, Kampala to solicit votes ahead of 2021 race.

Many people have welcomed Mr Mayanja and appreciated his recent contributions to the struggle to liberate Uganda.

“You have proved us beyond reasonable doubt and we are going to support and vote you as our Lord Mayor,” says Mukasa Daniel a resident of Kiswa village.

Mr Mayanja appreciated Kiswa residents and shared a moment with them while discussing challenges of the area.

“Thanks my people of Nakawa. I’m overwhelmed by the love you showed me on our maiden visit to Kiswa. ‘Amanyi mangi’ meaning Power is too much!!!,” says Mr Mayanja.

“We shall transform this city with solutions, that’s my promise to you.
I was moved by the love from the community,” he added.

The most successful musician Joseph Mayanja promised to transform Kampala City with Solutions.

“Our promise.
Our ‘Dubailisation’ agenda is real. We shall make Kampala the exchange centre (Dubai) of Africa,” Mr Mayanja explained.

Mr Mayanja is running as an independent candidate in the race for Kampala City Lord Mayor 2021 with a watch as his symbol.
