Bobi Wine’s NUP party offices a crime scene, says Uganda Police. Whisper Eye Reports

Uganda police in the afternoon sealed off National Unity Plaform headquarters with dozens of uniformed and uniformed security forces.

Police with dozens of it’s men forcefully deployed around Bobi Wine’s party headquarters and made an entry into the Kamwokya based party.

Police was yet to officially issue a statement on why they had invaded the opposition party however some of the officers at the seen confirmed that NUP headquarters was now a crime scene.

By press time politcal uniforms in various colours were being displayed by some officers.

Several National Unity Plaform leaders took to their social media platforms to condemn what it termed as an attack on democracy of Uganda.

This is the situation outside the doors of our offices at the Secretariat in Kamwokya. Police, Military and other security agencies have cordoned off the area. Our President Bobi Wine was also inside the Secretariat. No one is allowed to move in or out. They’re now ransacking our offices. Said MP Zaake NUP National youth leader.
