Bobi Wine speaks out on Police & Military invasion of NUP headquarters. Whisper Eye Reports
National Unity Platform (NUP) president who doubles as the legislator for Kyadondo East Hon Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu speaks out on a joint invasion of party offices by Police and military today.
Today (Wednesday) morning a joint operation of police and military has been carried out on NUP headquarters at Kamwokya.
“The military, police and other security agencies have laid siege on the National Unity Platform Platform offices in Kamwokya,” says MP Kyagulanyi.
“Several of our staff and leaders have been arrested”, he adds.
According to Hon Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine, the security agents “are breaking into the different offices, taking all documents and other valuables”.
It is alleged that Military and Police officers have confiscated red berets and other promotional items, merchandise found inside NUP offices.
According to our reporter, security officers looked like searching something from various rooms, yet not disclosed by the authorities.
