Mukono residents experience tremor as earthquake hits District.Whisper Eye Reports

• Residents in Mukono and neighbouring parts had a moment of anxiety after experiencing a tremor around 16.00 hrs pm.

Mukono Residents living in parts of Mukono reported earth tremors around 4.00 pm on Thursday evening .

Similar tremors were reportedly felt in parts of Wakiso around the same time.

“Felt the tremor in Kisowera . It Lasted for over 30 seconds. Everyone in where I live ran out,” one Kassim told Whisper Eye when contacted .

American Earthquakes which reports on such incidents across the globe was yet to react about its magnitude.

Experts reported a:  “strong earthquake of magnitude believed to be arund 4.9 in Mukono which was also felt in parts of Waksio and Buikwe .
