Breaking: NUP EC gives Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Joseph Mayanja “Chameleone” four-hours notice to appear in the vetting committee. Whisper Eye Reports

Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party’s Elections management commission has given Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Mr Joseph Mayanja also known as Dr Jose Chameleone a notice of only four hours to attend the vetting committee at party headquarters in Kamwokya, Kampala.

A reliable source has told Us that Mr Mayanja has been informed today Tuesday September 15, 2020 to go to the vetting committee at 12:00pm in the afternoon.

Although Mr Joseph Mayanja who is the leading candidate in the race for the ticket was not informed earlier, he has confirmed his appearance to the vetting committee.

The source further told Whisper Eye news that Mr Mayanja is also picking forms of nomination for Kampala Lord Mayor seat today from the district offices of the Electoral Commission (EC) in Ntinda.

Immediately after picking the nomination forms from Ntinda, Mr Mayanja will move straight to Kamwokya for vetting process.
