Uganda’s Electoral Commission (EC) has blocked Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Mr Joseph Mayanja also known as Dr Jose Chameleone from picking nomination forms todayMonday September 14, 2020.

Our reliable source from the EC has informed us that singer Joseph Mayanja who had planned to pick nomination forms tomorrow is not yet cleared by the EC.

It is said that Mr Mayanja had planned to pick nomination forms today Monday, and prepare for day unfortunately it has been cancelled by the Electoral body on arguments that they wanted an organised process.

It is said that Mr Mayanja is likely to pick nomination forms on Tuesday September 15, 2020.

Uganda’s music legend Mr Mayanja declared his interest to contest for Kampala Lord Mayoral seat last year.

He is the most popular candidate in the race and he has threatened Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearer who is the incumbent haji Erias Lukwago who recently quit the Democratic Party.
