COVID-19: Museveni COVID-19 address to the nation on this Saturday at 8PM

President Yoweri Museveni will address the nation on the Covid-19 pandemic this Saturday, September 19 at 8pm. Whisper Eye Reports

“In case of adjustments/changes, we shall keep you posted,” says Senior Press Secretary to the president, Don Wanyama.

President Museveni is set to address the nation on Saturday 19th September 2020 on the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country.

According to President Museveni’s Senior Press Secretary, Don Wanyama, the president’s address will be aired live on all local television and radio stations at 8PM.

In his address, which will be the first since he eased the lockdown since the COVID-19 outbreak was declared in the country, Museveni is expected to guide further on measures to control the spread of Coronavirus in Uganda.

The president’s address comes a week after confirmed cases in the country surpassed the 4000th mark following a surge in Coronavirus cases observed in the last two months.
