Former two-terms Kyotera county MP (Rtd) Major Pius Mujjuzi defeated Sitenda Ssebalu to win Kyadondo East NRM ticket.
Major Mujjuzi was defeated in 2015 by state minister for micro finance finance the incumbent MP for Kyotera county hon haji Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries.
He conceded the defeat and president assigned him on various duties.
Many people were shocked to see Mr Mujjuzi bouncing back to defeat Mr Ssebalu in Kyadondo county East constituency.
Ssebalu lost the Kyadondo East by elections to National Unity Platform (NUP) president Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine.
