Kampala Lord Mayor aspirant Mr Joseph Mayanja popularly known as Dr Jose Chameleone has appointed Mr Mugonza Andrew popularly known as Senator, the National Organising secretary for the Uganda Young Democrats
( UYD) his media personnel.

Today September 8, 2020, Mr Mayanja has opened officially his offices at Namirembe hill a long Balintuma road Kampala.

Last Tuesday Uganda police dispersed Mr Mayanja and his supporters who had come for the official launch of the office on arguments that him (Mr Mayanja) and team did not follow the recommended preventive measures of Covid-19 by the government.

However according to Mr Henry Lubowa the coordinator of the campaign for Mr Joseph Mayanja told Whisper Eye that Police was not fair because they followed all measures .

Mr Mugonza is a professional Journalist and a senior reporter at Carreti Media the parent of Whisper Eye, Business Detect , Africhanel and Whisper Sports .

He is a social democrat who represented the Uganda Young Democrats (UYD) in the National congress in International Youth of Socialist Youth (IYUS) in Armenia in 2015.

He is a political activist who survived assassination by Kyotera County MP Hon haji Haruja Kyeyune Kasolo’s body guards at St. Kizito Catholic sub parish at Kasaka, Matake parish.

Mugonza led the Campaign of former Makerere university guild president Mr Okware Robert which is considered to be the most popular campaign in the university’s history.

Recently between 2010 and 2016 he managed the campaign of Mr Ssebuwufu John Mary one of the commissioners on National Unity Platform (NUP) party in Kyotera county in 2011.

And Nasubuga Priscilla Kibuuka for the some post of Kyotera county MP in 2012-2016.

He is a football fan, of Buddu county team, Express FC, Nigeria National team, France National team and Arsenal the Gunners football club.
