Popular political analyst Pastor Dr Abed Bwanika told Kampala Lord Mayor Haji Ssalongo Erias Lukwago to end his 15-year unproductive political carrier and back Mr Joseph Mayanja.

Dr Abed Bwanika who is a principal in the DP Bloc, joined Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) told the press that Mr Lukwago has not performed as the Kampala Lord Mayor.

“Mr Lukwago has been the Lord Mayor for Kampala now completing ten years, but nothing he can show. He performed better in the Uganda parliament, but he has failed as the Kampala Lord Mayor,” says Dr Abed Bwanika.

“I have confidence that Mr Joseph Mayanja will use his exposure and talent to development Kampala city. I have talked to him, and he has satisfied me that he can change our city,” he added.

In his speech Dr Bwanika asked Lukwago to be realistic to Kampala residents that he has failed and should back anybody to take over.

“Among all candidates available Mr Joseph Mayanja is the best, and has solutions to the challenges of the city. Haji Lukwago should support him and we move on,” says Dr Abed Bwanika.

The battle for Kampala Lord Mayor 2021 has intensified and many close politicians to Haji Lukwago have now joined Mr Mayanja to implement mission 2021.
