Just In: Police blocks Dr Lulume from opening up people power office in Buikwe, 5 coordinators arrested. Whisper Eye Reports
Police destroyed heavily to block former Member of Parliament (MP) of Buikwe south Dr Ssalongo Michael Philip Lulume Bayiga Jr to officially open up his campaign offices at Kawuulu village, Nantwaala Parish in Buikwe town council.
our reporter in Buikwe told Whisper Eye news that Dr Lulume tried to explain senior police officers from Lugazi police station commanding the group but his efforts were futile as they used force to disperse him and supporters.
During the process five (5) campaigning agents of Dr Lulume have been arrested.
Those arrested are; Ssempeebwa Shem, Jjuuko kalyamagwa, kayongo Livingston, Luutu sula, and one who has been not identified on spot.
They have been taken to Buikwe police station as investigation takes course to final conclusion.
