Former MP for Kawempe South constituency hon Ssebuliba Mutumba Mudduawulira has returned nomination forms to run again on Democratic Party (DP) ticket.
Whisper Eye has been reliably informed that Hon Ssebuliba has returned nomination forms and vowed to win the seat again on DP ticket.
He lost the seat in 2016 when he contested as an independent candidate after loosing the ticket to Mr Ssali Dan Konkomebi, and Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) flag bearer Munyagwa Mubarack won the seat.
According to our sources from Kawempe South Mr Ssebuliba is to face tough competition from former Makerere University guild president Dr Roy Ssembogga who is currently in the lead and likely to win the National Unity Platform (NUP) party ticket.
Other candidates in the race are incumbent Munyagwa Mubarack of FDC, Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) president Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira, among others.
