Mawokota North National Unity Platform (NUP) MP aspirant Hilary Innocent Kiyaga, singer popularly known as Dr Hilderman has denied rumours trending over joining ruling NRM.
In an exclusive interview with Dr Hilderman, he has told Whisper Eye news that he can not join a failing party at his age.
“I can’t join a rotten National Resistance Movement (NRM), my opponents are much aware that NRM has become a curse which they are using to fight my candidature in Mawokota North,” says Singer Hilary.
“NRM leaders are scared of my strength in Mawokota North, I’m not moved with such baseless rumours intended to weaken me, never. I’m winning with National Unity Platform (NUP) trust me,” he added.
Singer Hilderman has spent the whole of the last week in Mawokota north campaigning for NUP president Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu.
He has helped youths during their village elections, and also requesting people in Mawokota to vote for him come 2021.
