Tension: Luwero NRM MPs, presidential Advisor Abdul Nadduli back Speaker Rebecca Whisper Eye Reports.
Tension has increased among National Resistance Movement (NRM) members as leaders take sides in the battle between Speaker of Uganda Parliament Rt hon Alitwala Rebecca Kadaga and the state minister for Lands hon Persis Namuganza lock hones for Second National Chairperson NRM representing Women.
Luwero district MPs Eng Lillian Nakate the woman MP, Edward Ssembatya Ndawula Katikamu South MP and Abraham Byandala Katikamu North MP have endorsed Speaker Kadaga.
The presidential Advisor Abdul Nadduli former district chairman has also back the legislators to support hon Kadaga.
“NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) shouldn’t be for yes men or women,” says Al-hajji Nadduli.
However some other delegates led by former RDC Namulindwa Phoebe support Bukono county MP Persis Namuganza.
“This is the right time to replace old guards with fresh blood,” says Namuganza supporters.
