Hold DP flag and support Bobi Wine, Rubaga residents tell MP aspirant Nassolo. Whisper Eye Reports

Residents of Rubaga South have requested their Democratic Party (DP) member Eugenia Nassolo to hold their party ticket and only support Bobi Wine’s presidential bid.

Rubaga South is predominantly occupied by DP members, it housed the precocious home of DP icon late Benedicto Kiwanuka before court bailiffs demolished it.

While hunting for votes in Rubaga yesterday in Ndeeba, Kakeeka, Mengo staunch DP members told Ms Nassolo Eugenia to hold the party flag amidst political controversies.

However they told the renown business entrepreneur Ms Nassolo to support Kyadondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu’s 2021 presidential bid.

Residents say, that they will vote for Pop music star Mr Kyagulanyi turned politician known by his stage name Bobi Wine presidential bid, and ready to vote for Ms Nassolo as their area MP.

Whisper Eye news is reliably informed that Omumbejja Eugenia Nassolo is the only candidate as of now who has applied for DP ticket among all contestants in Rubaga South constituency.

Ms Nassolo, Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku and Mukasa Aloysius are in the lead in a highly tight parliamentary race in Rubaga South.
