Seasoned women rights activist Robinah Nanyunja to stand for Kawempe North seat again . Whisper Eye Reports
Ecological Party of Uganda (EPU) Human rights activist Robinah Nanyunja has declared to contest for Kawempe North constituency in the forthcoming general elections.
Ms Nanyunja told Whisper Eye News that she contested on the same post in 2016, and lost to Hon Latif Ssebaggala Ssengendo.
Whom he accuses for over stay, and he (MP Ssebaggala) has failed to represent the people of Kawempe according to Ms Nanyunja.
She has promised to restore Cooperatives societies in Kawempe, defending Human rights and also uniting residents together for development.
Kawempe North Constituency is represented by Hon Latif Ssebaggala Ssengendo since 2001 who joined Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) to run for the fifth term.
Other candidates are Sulaiman Kidandala Sserwadda who heads Mobilisation and Organisation committee of Bobi Wine’s People Power, Our Power Movement.
