NRM suave lawyer Brain Tindyebwa aligns royal party leaders to defeat troubled minister Betty Kamya in NRM primaries

Kampala renown suave lawyer Brain Kusingura Tindyebwa has aligned National Resistance Movement (NRM) royal historians members in Rubaga North to humiliate president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s Minister Olive Namisango Turomwe Kamya in the forthcoming coming NRM party primaries.

Mr Brain Kusingura Tindyebwa picked nomination forms last week from NRM Secretariat at Kyadondo road in Kampala and declared to contest for the Rubaga North MP seat on the NRM ticket.

A reliable source told Whisper Eye that yesterday August 2, 2020 Mr Kusingura met over 120 NRM historical members in one of the hotels a round Munnaku-Lubya area.

The meeting was organised secretly and our all attendants were checked and phones were corrected from them during the meeting.

Whisper Eye was reliably informed that the NRM leaders in attendance, vowed to fight Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development Betty Kamya arguing that they doubt her allegiance to the party.

For starters, Mr Kusingura is the man who defeated Kampala tycoon Singh Katongole Pamidah in the NRM primaries in 2015 to hold the NRM flag for the same seat.

After unexpected defeat in 2015, Mr Katongole has shunned the race this time round and has publicly declared to support Minister Kamya.

Mr Kusingura is loved by NRM leaders and members in Rubaga north and according to the situation in the constituency, he might shock top party leaders again.

During the meeting NRM leaders in Rubaga north confessed to Mr Kusingura to stand with him as they did last time.

Reports are trending that top party leadership would prefer minister Betty Kamya to hold the NRM flag in Rubaga north, but she is faced with a lot of resistance from local party leaders.
