Wife of Dan Kyeyune who was shot to dead by LDU joins politics to demand for Justice, backed by MP Zaake Francis.

Ms Nakazzi Betty a widow to the late Dan Kyeyune who was a People Power, Our Power Movement supporter of Kyadondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu also known as Bobi Wine has joined politics.

The late Kyeyune Dan was killed by Local Defense Unit (LDU) officer who shoot live bullets among Bobi Wine supporters on the 25th February, 2020.

Mityana municipality MP Zaake Francis Butebi has backed Ms Nakazzi’s candidature and promised her support.

According to Ms Nakazzi Betty, joining politics was not her plan, but she is looking for justice.

“Since the brutal killing of my lovely husband Dan, I’m suffering a lot. Life is too difficult, and at times i sleep on empty stomach,” says Ms Nakazzi.

“I demand justice” she added.

Nakazzi Betty is contesting for LC3 Woman Councillor of Nakulabye Zone 3, 4 and 5.
