Mixed reactions as MP Allan Ssewanyana beats odds to donate Ludo play board to voters . Whisper Eye Reports

Democratic Party (DP) Makindye West legislator hon Allan Ssewanyana popularly known as ‘Omusajja wa Wiino’ roasted for donating Ludo playing board to youths in his constituency.

Social media bloggers have greatly criticised MP Ssewanyana arguing that he would have mobilised young people to engage them selves in productive activities.

Mukasa Julius a resident of Lukuli in Makindye told Whisper Eye that the the legislator would have helped those youths with start-up capital for agricultural or bricks laying to kick start productive activities to fight poverty.

“We can not accept such at this particular time. MP Ssewanyana is playing cheap politics, let him advise young people to invest in agriculture or small income businesses which is the way to go,” Mr Mukasa said.

However, MP Ssewanyana’s supporters praised him for promoting talents in the constituency especially footballers.

They say that he is a caring legislator and he has done a lot in promoting sports and games in Makindye West.

“Let us love Allan Ssewanyana because is kindness to people from makindye west,” says Martin Lucas a Facebook blogger.

Criticisms to MP Ssewanyana started on Saturday after the MP posted photos on his Facebook account giving out Ludo playing boards to youths in Makindye West.
