Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) president Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine has landed into a conspiracy of president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s brother Gen Salim Saleh plan of sponsoring parliamentary candidates within his newly launched political party.

A reliable source inside the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has revealed that Gen Salim Saleh has masterminded a project to sponsor his agents within NUP.

The source told NUP top leadership that these candidates are many especially in the central region.

The characteristics of these candidates are, basically many of them have not been in politics before the political success of Bobi Wine.

Secondary they are business people with a lot of money, which they use to control People Power, Our Power Movement, and now NUP.

Furthermore, these candidates have no political agenda, they only talk, and discuss money.

In their campaign they basically explain how Opposition MPs are not bringing back money into their constituency.

Further still, they own companies, buying off their competitors within opposition and they have placed them selves to win elective posts.

According to the source, in Central Region (Buganda) many are not from this region.

“Look at Women MP race in Buganda there are non Baganda NRM candidates and they are fully financed and are backed up by the invisible hand,” the source said.

NUP party president ordered trusted Samuel Walter Lubega Mukaaku to rejuvenate his Rubaga South ambitions.

Mr Mukaaku had ignored the constituency especially when Mr Wine appointed him as the deputy chairman of the Elections Management Commission of the People Power Movement.

In a secret meeting Mr Wine who was tough told his confidants that anybody dealing with Mr Museveni and his spying network will face it rough.

MP Kyagulanyi said in the meeting that he has a wide spying network in Museveni’s regime and he is aware of everything that is going on.

Many serious politicians have been complaining about Mr Aloysius Mukasa, with allegations that he is working with Gen Salim Saleh.

Mr Mukaaku has started immediately meeting Rubaga South voters, distributing campaign posters in a process of rejuvenating his candidature.

NUP team has started a process to make Eugenia Nassolo who is also eyeing the same seat, to consider an alternative as well as disciplined Mbereza Zacchy Mawula who is campaigning for Rubaga Division Mayor is among the Bobi Wine trusted leader to form a winning team for Rubaga Division.
