Opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party president who doubles as the Kyadondo East MP Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine has ordered his mobilisation and organising committee to send NUP party cards on lower branch levels to help members get their cards easily.

MP Kyagulanyi launched NUP party membership cards on Tuesday and the activity has attracted many people from the different parts of the country.

Within two days Mr Wine’s new party has registered about 5,000 new members.

According to the vice chairman of the Mobilising and Organising committee in People Power, Our Power Movement Ms Nabatanzi Faridah who is responsible for all mobilisation in the new party.

She told Whisper Eye that the launch was successfully done at the headquarters in Kamwokya a suburb in Kampala.

Now they have sent membership cards at district, and Constituency level.

“Yesterday we were able to distribute NUP party cards to district and constituency levels, we do argue our supporters to make sure that they contribute to the struggle by buying memberships cards,” says Ms Nabatanzi.

“Members of NUP can now access membership cards from their district and Constituency levels, she added.”

It has been confirmed that today morning Thursday July 30, 2020 NUP party membership cards are at all the four regional offices; Northern, Eastern, Western and Central.
