Uganda’s opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party president who doubles as the area MP for Kyadondo East Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu vows to defeat president Museveni in what he has termed as the most expensive campaign to the regime.

MP Kyagulanyi told Whisper Eye News that he defeated Mr Museveni spying network to register NUP party despite huge expenditure by the regime to block him (Mr Kyagulanyi) to register a political party in Uganda.

Popular pop music star Mr Wine who turned politician, declared to contest with Mr Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and was cleared by the Electoral Commission (EC) said that his team of People Power, Our Power Movement has awakened political conscious of majority Ugandans and they are now ready to vote for change in the forthcoming general elections.

“You will be shocked to see us in State House just as you were shocked when we unvailed NUP,” says MP Kyagulanyi.

“Regime agents failed us to register People Power Movement, which was seen as an end, we have used them to register NUP with an Umbrella as our symbol in the forthcoming general elections, he added.”

Mr Kyagulanyi said that he is set to defeat President Museveni come 2021.

On 14th July, 2020, MP Kyagulanyi was elected the NUP President General during the party delegates conference that state in Kakiri Wakiso.
