Uganda’s longest surviving politcal party Democratic Party, DP has congratulated Kyadondo East MP Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu for unveiling a new Politcal party (National Unity Platform).
Through It’s publicity Kakande Kenneth, DP gave a green light to Bobi Wine and it’s members for a good relationship ahead . Below is the media statement by Kenneth Kakande.

Kampala July 22nd 2020 – The Democratic Party congratulates Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi,
the head of the People Power movement and the team upon the unveiling of the National
Unity Platform (NUP) as a new political entity aimed at making a contribution to the struggle
for change in Uganda.
We welcome all change seeking forces to come on board in this struggle of delivering to the
people of Uganda a regime change and end the mismanagement of state affairs characterised by unprecedented corruption, nepotism as well as defiling of the sanctity of governance in this country.
All well-intentioned DP fraternity pledges their cooperation and support to Hon. Kyagulanyi
and brothers and sisters in NUP. Congratulations.
On Friday July 24th 2020, the Democratic Party and its sister organisations in the DP-Bloc
shall offer guidance to their members and the entire country on the way forward and how
we shall cooperate with NUP under the People Power fraternity.
