Covid-19: Uganda cases rise by 10 to 222 as lockdown eases

10 new coronavirus pandemic cases have been reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. Whisper Eye Reports.

Whisper Eye has learnt that 9 new cases are all border entries taking Uganda’s total number of confirmed coronavirus cases to 222.

The country health ministry, in its daily update this evening of Monday confirmed these new rising covid-19 cases.

The new cases , 1 cases a contact of the previous positive truck driver .

All positive were under Quarantine.

Uganda now has 222 covid-19 cases since march.

Uganda also handed over 30 positive foreign truck drivers to their respective countries .

Uganda has now registered 69 recoveries according to the ministry of health with no reports of death.

Malaba, Busia and Mutukula border points turn out to be the most risky areas as far as Covid-19 is concerned.
