Bobi Wine accuses police for killing his supporter , calls for justice

People Power Our Power Movement supporter Mutyabule Charles was knocked dead by a speeding truck in Mabira forest a long Kampala-Jinja High way.

Mutyabule was riding a motorcycle accompanying People Power leader, also Kyadondo East legislator Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu who was returning from Baba FM in Jinja.

MP Kyagulanyi attracted masses in each town he passed through as he was returning to Kampala.

“I should have returned from Jinja very happy today on account of the massive support we received in every place we passed,’ says MP Kyagulanyi.

“Unfortunately, my joy was cut short when I watched with my eyes as a military truck yet again knocked dead our ardent supporter and comrade, Charles Mutyabule!” MP Kyagulanyi added.

Pop music star who turned politician popularly known by his stage name Bobi Wine told Whisper Eye News that previously, the regime has frustrated efforts to get videos of these crimes out, but in this case, “the murder of our brother was captured on camera. Mutyabule joins many of our supporters who have lost lives in extra-judicial killings by the state”.

“The Museveni regime has proven from time to time that it is ready to kill our people as if they are flies. What I can say is that a time will come when we shall get justice and accountability for all these atrocities” MP Kyagulanyi said.

Hon Kyagulanyi said that as People Power Movement stand with the family of the deceased, and promised to take the struggle forward as they fight injustices in Uganda.

Mutyabule was rushed to Lugazi Hospital in much pain where he died just minutes after he was admitted to the Hospital.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga told Whisper Eye that they have started investigations to lead them to the truth of the incident.
