The famous Equator 93.0 FM has spent close to two years off air. Whisper Eye Reports

Once popular 93.0 Equator FM radio station based in Masaka has spent one year and three months off year.

Whisper Eye News is reliably informed that since March 2019, radio Equator FM has been off air.

The radio was famous in greater Masaka and central region due to its popular programs and good frequency.

Residents in Masaka are demanding for its fresh broadcasting after Masaka was awarded acity status.

However the embattled media house still own its building and it seems there is a chance for its rejuvenation and fresh broadcasting after a long period of time.

One of the officials of the radio informed Whisper Eye that efforts are underway to get back on air, he declined to reveal his name.
